So, we stood at the beach this afternoon and looked at the kiters on the water – wind was quite alright really. But, it just wasn’t perfect – it had the audacity to be a bit gusty and at times, well, light. Simple fact is that when the day before it was a full-on 23 knots gusting 25 upwards and you are fully juiced up on a 7 metre kite, the thought of going out and having to work a little harder to ride just does not appeal.
So we sat on the beach and talked rubbish about this and that instead. By the way, we had been working all morning on all sorts of things, including taking part in the Volvo Ocean Race online, which is becoming addictive for Jim and I.
