Cabarete and the UK photos
Posted in Dominican Republic surf holiday
After a few busy days, I am now finding the time to post some pictures of my trip to the UK.
The farm pictured belongs to my sister and her husband, Mark who is the most hardworking person I have ever met. If you think you have a hard life, swap places with a dairy farmer in the UK for a week and I think you will see what hard work is really about, 365 days per year, up at 5am, finishing work in the Winter at 6pm and in the Summer at 10pm. No money to employ another helper, Mark does all the work with his father Sam who is in his 70′s. A lovely thing happened for Mark recently, he was left a 1963 Mercedes convertible by a couple for whom he had worked and helped out for the last 40 years. Billy, the farm dog starts the photos…….Drew is talking to the chickens and my big sister Tracey is on the lovely Fresian horse.

and back in Cabarete…….
Jimmy showing the kids how to make the ‘uber bomb’ in the pool and my youngest son Euan with his friends new puppy….
