A lovely morning at Encuentro and my first opportunity to use the new camera lens – got some nice surf shots (on a small day) but here’s my favourite picture of the morning 

Nightly thunderstorms are pretty spectacular at the moment – endless flashes of lightening and very loud thunder are not doing Jasper’s fear factor any good though.  He sits shaking beneath my desk.

Some strong wind came from nowhere yesterday – we both went out. Me on a directional board and a 9m kite – should have taken a 7 as I was hanging on for dear life and Jim went windsurfing.
