Finally the waves….

So, it’s four in the afternoon, Saturday and Jim is out riding some very large waves.  I can make him out on the reef, mainly because of the kite standing out and 23 metres beneath the kite, I can see a figure wave riding and looking extremely small next to the wave he is on.  He loves it – waves like that scare me half to death, although occasionally when I am on a wave that is shoulder high and chasing me down, I can understand the feeling of exilharation – takes a certain level of bravery to be on a wave that is twice your height or more.  He will be happy.

I am off to collect my children from Sosua Ocean Village Water Park where they seem to live these days………
