hmmmm….. waiting for the waves

It’s a frustrating element of living and breathing wind and waves that you can often be relying on a forecast to be correct.  The fact is that most often, they are not and its always better to get your forecast by looking out of the window; no more, no less.

This week, we have been waiting for a swell forecast on windguru for the last week to be 2.9m waves at a good interval; it’s now Saturday and it did not arrive.  Saving your energy for that swell can pay off or you can end up feeling like a tightly wound spring; anything could set you off.

The best thing I can show you today is a sunrise; very pretty….I took the photo with my ‘phone whilst walking my dogs……. cabarete-sunrise

Whilst I am writing, I can hear the wind, light before, but now blowing like stink so it’s time to go and check whether we should rig up and go kite………hasta pronto.
